Jacob Jeffries’ songwriting is poignant and knows how you feel. Or in ‘Punchline’, he can delight in understanding how you feel, in the most charming and understated way.

The music of songwriter Jacob Jeffries has quickly become some of our most appreciated. On “What Army”, the songwriter shows his depth for genre-busting talent. Rooted in a haunting piano ballad, the electric guitar and textured rock elements remind us of Radiohead and dare we say, Oasis. We had previously covered some of his more singer songwriting tracks, but this one hit us surprisingly differently. “What Army” breathes a little more and is not afraid to dip into the artist’s diverse background to create an impressive piece of blended talent.

Jeffries’ new single “Let You Down” reveals his penchant for bright melodies and brisk tempos counterposed against downbeat thematic matter. So file it under bummer pop when he sings, wistfully

Combining the jangling chords and unflinching earnestness of ‘90s alt-radio giants like the Wallflowers, Gin Blossoms, and Soul Asylum, “Let You Down” floats like a memory at the edge of consciousness. It’s an intimately personal experience perfectly captured by its accompanying video. Choreographed by dancer Jessalyn Brooks, who also features in it, the visuals bring to life the battle between desolation and our desire to return to it again and again

Jacob Jeffries’ new album Mother Land, includes 13 new songs with guest appearances by Theo Katzman (Vulfpeck), Arianna Powell (Black Eyed Peas), and Hayley Jane Batt (BORNS). With his unique ability to craft clever and relatable lyrics alongside memorable melodies, Jacob brings genuine passion and an unmistakable brand of energy to his recordings…With a storytelling style reminiscent of Billy Joel & Elvis Costello, “Say You Need” invites the listener into a captivating classic boy meets girl tale, with a melody that feels familiar enough, you can’t help but sing along.

We don't even know where to begin with Jacob Jeffries Band other than to say that we're INSTA-STANS. The South Florida pop-rockers just released Tell Me Secrets, their fourth studio album, and it's already garnering crazy buzz from fans AND from famous people! The band's piano-driven rock sound (think Gavin DeGraw meets Ben Folds) has made a fan out of Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba who, in a recent article called Jacob "incredible." NBD, whatsoever….
